ankommen - to arrive
wir sind angekommen! - we have arrived
one taxi ride, two plane flights, and another taxi ride later we have arrived at our new home. exciting! and exhausting. we are dragging. i walked through customs without stopping because i was so tired i didn't realize where i was. the cat hasn't gone to the bathroom in 24 hours. so this is expat living!
there are many things to do, not the least of which is sleep. but first we will go to the office, get the car, and figure out which is our parking space. but soon, soon we will know the glorious deliciousness of sleep... and the cat will get a litter box.
