ein glatter Unterhändler - one smooth negotiator
it's cold. so... very... cold.
today the high was -9 degrees. we drove to an underground parking structure and went to an english language movie. we had an excursion with virtually no contact made with the outside. mission accomplished.
we did, however, stop for water and milk on the way home. it turns out that the big yellow and green "H" signs are bus stops and not parking areas. i know, duh, look for the big "P". to be fair there were a ton of other cars parked there too. so today dan learned how to talk us out of a parking ticket (25 euros) using blank looks and nodding. dan is one smooth negotiator.
all in all it was a good day.

Sounds like a new entry for the Dan book! "Dan is smooth. One day in Berlin, he got himself out of a parking ticket without even talking. Also, one time at Hitchy's house he turned on a treadmill by accident and got thrown across the room. Dan is one smooth dude."
