zischen - to go drinking

here's what we did today: nothing.

that was by design since last night we went out to a local bar. we had absinthe. let's just say we know why it is illegal in the states. we didn't have any hallucinations except for the little devils on our shoulders prompting us to order it in the first place. it's so pretty! it's a beautiful green and is served with a flaming sugar cube. this morning i felt like i had a flaming something or other in my stomach and head. turns out you're supposed to mix it with water... so that's what that was for!

we pulled out the sofa bed and watched downloaded episodes of law & order for most of the day.
