in case you forgot the world cup is being played here...the world cup has been a constant subject of window displays, the tv news, and tourist souvenir shops since our arrival here in berlin. in the past few months we have seen the addition of at least 3 songs with videos on MTV about the world cup, lawsuits and violence over tickets, and even the application of a giant soccer ball pattern on the TV tower. it's fair to say that "FIFA fever," as some call it, has completely saturated the german landscape and mindset.
just when i thought the logo couldn't show up on anything else the local news proved me wrong. the newest "fußball" inspired product is a soccer patterned, world cup logo emblazoned, dildo.
in case you forgot the world cup is being played here...
