auspacken - to unpack

ich packe meinen dinges aus. - i unpack my things.

i hope that's right. i still don't know how to string words together into actual sentences.

today our shipped clothes and stuff arrived! it was like christmas but i already owned all of the "gifts" i opened. it was nice to have my slippers, which i shipped like a sucker. now i am finally warm. the only problem now is that we greatly overestimated the drawer space available to us in germany while packing all this stuff in san jose. i'm afraid i'll be putting socks and t-shirts in our living room bookcase.
