der Frühling - spring

hooray! today was the first day it has actually felt like spring. it rained a lot this morning but by the afternoon we just had a few sprinkles and it was in the 50's (F). the crocuses are coming up and the people are coming out of the woodwork. we walked to the museum for photography and encountered many happy people along the way - and a lot of drunks since the museum is near the train station. (the museum was fine but nothing to blog about.) the forecast for the foreseeable future, according to weather.com, is mid 50's and rainy.

it got us thinking: spring here is like winter in san jose. we'll take california winters from now on, please!

as dan says, "spring has sprung, the grass is riz, i wonder where the bwurdies is."
