It's 6AM in Hong Kong - care for a glass of wine?
13 hours in the air, two meals & three movies and here we are in the Hong Kong Airport awaiting our departure to Singapore. As you may have guessed by the use of capitol letters, this is Dan writing, not Jordan. Jordan has just stepped away to grab another shrimp dumpling and glass of wine from the lovely spread here at the Singapore Airlines Silver Kris lounge. (Note, it is 6:00 AM in Hong Kong. But for Jordan, it is always wine time.)
Lessons learned so far:
Lessons learned so far:
- Singapore airlines kicks United's ass every day and twice on Sunday. (The bathrooms on the plane have orchids and perfumes. Crazy.)
- Free flights in Business class are even better on Singapore Air.
- We are suckers for having taken so many crappy United flights to get the miles for the free Singapore flights.
- The movie "Vantage Point" is not good enough to keep either of us awake on a 13 hour flight.
Hong Kong has a very strange process where passenger who chose to get off the plane during the service stop must get a sticker placed on their outer most garment and then clear security once more. It was not clear to anyone in line why they do this if we already cleared security in SF. Oh well, best not to ask too many questions and just go with the flow.
Hmm... I guess there is not much to say about a plane flight. Check back later for our first impressions of Singapore.

Where are you going on your month-long adventure? If you run into my parents, say hi. They are over there right now too!
